The Stonewall Alliance of Chico is an all volunteer agency serving the Northern Sacramento Valley of California. We have an eleven seat Board of Directors and a variety of volunteer staff positions. Committees for fundraising, programming, policy, and audit are staffed by board members, program staff, and community members. An executive committee performs the chief executive function and is comprised of the Board officers.

The Board of Directors has designated Five Management Areas for the successful operation of the Stonewall Alliance Center. Two Board seats are dedicated to the management of each designated area. The Board chairperson oversees all agency management. The Five Management Areas are Operations, Programs, Communications, Fundraising, and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities: Chairperson is the chief executive officer (CEO) of the corporation.
Vice Chair of the Board: Open Seat

Responsibilities: To serve as Board Chairperson in the absence of Chairperson.
Secretary of the Board: Sherry Butler

Responsibilities: To record and report the minutes of the Board of Director’s meetings.
Treasurer of the Board: Open Seat

Responsibilities: Maintain and report the financial records of the Center.

Responsibilities: CO is responsible for maintaining the Center’s website, publications & managing email.

Responsibilities: O&E Officer is responsible for scheduling all Outreach and Education efforts.

Responsibilities: The COO will team with Board Treasurer in managing agency facility & equipment, & personnel.
Groups and Activities Officer: Shenison Lee

Responsibilities: G&A Officer is responsible for scheduling and managing the Center’s groups and social activities.
Donor Relations Officer: Open Seat

Responsibilities: DRO is responsible for managing the annual campaign and Rainbow Alliance (sustaining donors).
Policy & Planning Officer: Stan Ellis
