MasQueerade

Each year, the Stonewall Alliance Center is proud to host the MasQueerade, an event full of dancing, performances and fun, with an attendance of around 300 masked and unmasked guests. Past MasQueerade's have featured DJ Jigga Julee spinning all night, along with a no-host bar, a "Best Mask" contest, silent auction and performances by Mini-Merna. This annual February event is held at the Women's Club, filled with vibrant decorations and guests alike. Coming Out for Art

This annual event hosted at the RAYRAY Gallery in Chico provides a creative outlet for the LGBTQ+ community and allies to express their feelings and attitudes around sexuality and gender. Creative artists are given a productive and positive way to express themselves and feelings in an artistic manner. The artwork is not only viewed by a large audience, but people who submit artwork even have the option of selling their pieces.
