Transgender Day Of Remembrance (TDOR)

TDOR is part of TWOR (transgender week of resilience) which is led by Butte college and CSUC. Recommend contacting or looking up the GSEC to figure out what they've got planned this time around.

As far as TDOR, it will still include: Reading of names of those lost this year, luminaries in their honor, music by trans artists, food and coffee for guests, community building and discussions on how to move forward with strength and resilience.

Flags will be displayed on the lawns of churches and at CSUC signifying the deaths of transgender people this year.

An altar will be present at TDOR for people to leave memories, notes, gifts, or anything else of significance for those who have passed.

However, this year rather than a panel or discussion on violence against trans people, we will spend some time highlighting the passions, contributions and personal facets of those people who passed this year in celebration of their vibrant lives.

For more information on TWOR please visit Chico State's GSEC.

Coming Out for Art (COFA)

Coming out for Art (COFA) is an art show that provides a creative outlet for the LGBT*QI+ community and allies to fully express their feelings and attitudes surrounding sexuality and gender in a productive and positive way.
