Stonewall Groups

Stonewall Ally-Zone (A-Z)

A-Z provides peer support, information, and socializing for significant others, family, and friends of the LGBT*QI+ Community. A-Z provides a safe space to ask questions and/or talk about issues, feelings and concerns relevant to the sexual and gender minority community from A to Z! A-Z meets on the first and third Mondays at 6pm. Contact conner@stonewallchico.org for more information.

Beyond The Binary

Provides a safe, welcoming space to discuss and share experiences, struggles, and victories related to Non-Binary and Gender Non-Conforming gender identities. Beyond the Binary meets on the first Tuesday of the month at the Stonewall office at 6:30pm. For more information, contact maya@stonewallchico.org or call 530-893-3336

Trans* Pre-Teen Group

A safe and supportive place for all youth 12 and under who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender-expansive, gender-nonconforming, or who are exploring their gender identity. Parents/Guardians should come in when dropping off youth to sign a group consent form and inform us if there are any food allergies. This group is run by Jasmine Buck and you may reach her at 530-420-5502, or call the center 530-893-3336 or email center@stonewallchico.org. Trans* Teen Group

A group for Trans* Identified Youth (ages 14-18) open and welcoming to anyone within the Trans* spectrum, no matter where people are at within their transition process, or if they chose to transition. A place to hang out, get to know other teens in the community, get support, share experiences, and be involved. Youth help decide and choose the events and activities that will be offered through the group on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 6:30-8pm at the Stonewall office. Parents of Trans* Youth Group

Designed to coincide with the Trans Teen Group, although parental figures of all trans* people are welcome. Meets at the Stonewall Chico Counselling Office on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 6:45-7:45pm. Stonewall Alliance Young Adults (SAY! A)

SAY! A is an open group of young adults (ages 18-35) who meet on a weekly basis to be social, talk about LGBT*Q+ life in Chico, and plan events around town. This group meets every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm. Contact us at center@stonewallchico.org for more information.

Stonewall Alliance Youth (SAY) Teens

The teens group is a non-threatening, non-discriminatory, and safe outlet for teens (ages 14-17) to talk about issues surrounding sexuality. They are inclusive to all youth and meet every Thursday from 3:30-5:00pm at the Stonewall Alliance Center. Contact Conner at conner@stonewallchico.org for more information.

Transgender Stonewall

The trans* group is open to anyone that identifies on the transgender spectrum. Meetings are open to friends, family, partners, and allies. The group meets every Thursday at 6:00pm. Contact conner@stonewallchico.org for more information.

LGBT*QI+ Adult Group

The adult group creates friendship and community through social activities, discussion, and other events. Meeting times and venues vary: happy hours, pot-lucks, events and more. Find them on Meetup.com or email center@stonewallchico.org for more information and specific event details.

Stonewall Alliance LGBT*Q+ Older Adult Group

The older adult group is a conversational group meant to create connections amongst those in the LGBT*QI+ community. The group meets the 2nd Friday of every month at 6:30pm at the Stonewall Alliance Center.

Stonewall Alliance LGBT*Q+ Red Bluff

This group is currently on hiatus for summer. Meetings will begin again at their regular days and times in September.

This group meets at Tehema County Department of Education @1135 Lincoln Street in Red Bluff. This group is led by a licensed psychotherapist and meets the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 6:30-7:30pm.

New HIV Support Group

Council for Grieving

This group is currently on hiatus for summer. Meetings will begin again at their regular days and times in September.

The Council for Grieving is a talking circle, open to all in the community, to explore the potential of shared grief for personal and cultural transformation. Come willing to speak from the heart and to hold with care whatever is expressed in the circle. This group meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8pm at the Stonewall Alliance Center. Coffee and Conversation

An informal, open discussion group for anyone who identifies as a member of the gender, sex or sexual minority community and allies. The group meets every Thursday at 9pm at Upper Crust Cafe in Chico

Local Groups

Imperial Sovereign Court of the Czaristic Dynasty (ISCCD)

ISCCD produces shows and dances to raise money for local non-profits. www.chicoimperialcourt.com

Nor Cal Gatherings

Nor Cal Gatherings produces the annual LGBT*QI+ Rainbow Camp-OUT event on the first Saturday in June. email: norcalgatherings@yahoo.com
